Client Produced EDL?
I have a potential large and ongoing project shooting and editing interviews. In this particular case, each raw interview will be sent to the client who will fully transcribe it. Then they will pick out the exact sections they want to include in three different edited segments for posting to the web. Not much room for creativity here; they want what they want and, of course, they want to minimize post production cost. Given the correct template to work with, is there a way they could create a bona-fide EDL that I could import into Premiere to get an instant and accurate edit? I was thinking about how cool Clipnotes is for getting client feedback. Wouldn’t it be over-the-top cool if they could create an actual EDL in clipnotes?!
