  Premiere Pro CS5.5 and .AVI – Slightly Blurry

  Hey all,

  I’ve been editing for a project in FCP7 for the better part of 2 years now, and recently switched to PPro.

  One feature of this project is very heavy use of screen captures generated in camtasia. These are output (must be output) in AVI to keep the frames in sync for the final product.

  Anyway, I’ve discovered the PPro looks at .AVI a little fuzzy. It doesn’t have the same crispness as it did in FCP. Anyone have tips on fixing this?

  Are you seeing this with pause and playback?

  The playback setting may be set to half…

  You can adjust the quality settings by right clicking in the program monitor.

  Let us know.
