  AVI files from Toshiba Camileo X100 cam show glitches

  Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 – after rendering files, the clips jump/glitch. After export, still the same. Any advice PLEASE?
  I use Toshiba Camileo X100 cam, 32 bit operating system.
  The gspot program showed that needed codec is installed.
  Any advice would be much appreciated?

  Hi Chris,

  The camcorder outputs h.264. I would help if you could post a sample. It could be that you used a wrong sequence / export setting, or that CS3 wasn’t compatible with the format.

  What were the format / frame rates used for recording? Was it progressive?

  1280×720 (1) Frame rate:29.97 fps

  Im not sure if it is progressive, how would you know?

  Here’s the funny thing, it’s jaggy on my phone, but it looks great on the edit machine. What bit rate / level are you using?

  Do you mean when I export?
  I use bitrate 4.
  Progressive scan.
