You should try pre-composing and use your shape as a matte. This way the anchor point will be in the center of your matte layer and you can easily adjust things using simple position and scale keyframes. I’d also suggest that you make the actual zoom faster in a more pumping fashion and add some motion blur. It will instantly look much nicer and the potential alignement problems wont be that obvious). You should also feather the edges of your shape the tiniest bit.

i have one comp with all my layer even the footage that zooms.

i tried precomposing but the anchor still zooms to the lower part of the screen.
    i tried maskings, etc.

could you give me a quick step by step on what to do. i see what you are saying. I can defintely see the motion blur and punchy zoom make it better. I jsut want to make this rock. thanks for the quick feedback.

i forgot to mention that to get what i have right now, i keyframed the position and scale. and I cant seem to get a good mask to make it look like the picture fits right on the tc. what effects could i add to make it more realistic. i did blur the feaqther a little. thnkas

Besides adding motion blur, you could add a radial blur set to zoom and keyframe it to keep the center of the blur in the center of the television screen. Have it start at zero and, as the tv scales up to full screen, increase it so it gives the impression that it’s flying toward you really fast. Like entering warp speed in a space ship.
