    Hello,

I’ve got a video to do and to my horror it’s 98% titles and lists.

Do you know of any websites I can get inspired by, any suggestions in having more than just white text on a black background?

I just want to do something a bit more interesting than white text on a black background, I’ve already told them to just use powerpoint!

    Thank you!

As always, the problem should suggest the solution.

Don’t jump to a solution yet. (yeah, I know) Grab pencila and paper and start writing.

    What is the video about?
Is it technical, financial, medical, happy, sad?
Who is the client? What do they do or make?
What colours would be appropriate to the situation/client/topic?
    What is the message?
Write down all words that could be associated with this: elegant? technical? executive? clean? masculine?

    Technique-wise:
Can organic shapes be added? Rectangular shapes? Numbers?
Consider repeating an element (text?) reallly large in the background, breaking out of frame. Keep that element present as the body copy changes, to remind us of the topic maybe.
Or repeat that element small somewhere.
Make sure the message is clear. Remind the audience what the message is. Let them know where they are.
Reinforce the message with graphics in the background. Use more than one means of communication, in other words.

    Off you go …

One of my favorite type animations is MachoBox by MK12.

    Go here:
    https://media2.mk12.com/mk12_version_five.html

and click on Brazil Inspired: MachoBox under the 2003 section.
