    hello,

I am running the trial version of PPro on my MacPro (FCP7 installed). After installation of PPro, I had to reinstall the Blackmagic drivers in order to get the Blackmagic to work (this is normal). I now get Quicktime playback but cannot yet record to Quicktime Prores. Am I missing something?

    Thanks,

After the new driver install, other apps see ProRes (like AE for instance?)

Also…you need QT7.x installed for Premiere Pro. QTX will not work.

I don’t have AE on that machine. FCP7 was there from the beginning and QT7 is up to date. Had to reinstall Blackmagic software in order to see BM in PPro. Will try a reinstall of QT.
