Keylight in AE 6.5 problem
I teach at an art school where a number of student projects (mostly uncompressed HD green screen footage) are using keylight as their keyer. Although I was skeptical at first when students began complaining, it’s become very clear that in several instances different projects are keying differently on different machines, mostly having to do with spill suppression. In other words, we load the same project on a different computers (AE 6.5, both windows and mac, same version of keylight) and the key changes pretty dramatically without any user intervention. I’ve checked to see if it’s a monitoring issue and does not appear to be. The biggest change seems to be in spill supression. This has happened a number of times. Has anyone run across this problem? It’s wreaking havoc for a number of student projects and I’d love some ideas on how to deal with this. Thanks- Jerome
