Activity Forums Adobe Premiere Pro Does MPE support Dual GPU Single Card?

    I believe the current version of the MPE is it works out of the bat wether you get a high end card on the entry level card.

    More knowledgeable people may have better answers

    Also, that card looks scary 😀

    Actually nevermind. The Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 does take advantage to use both (if I’m right). I just added Geforce GTX 460 on the cuda supported cards list on the Adobe folder and changed my Nvidia Control Panel settings for Adobe Premiere on the “multi-display/mixed-GPU acceleration from the program tab.

    Now EVGA Precision shows that both GPU are running. Though the GPU usage is just 3 to 9%.

    Compare to Sony Vegas, an hr video takes 3hrs to get done with GPU accelaration on Sony AVC. But with Adobe Premiere with MPE for MP4 H.264 it took an hr and half.

    It’s a beast that’s why it looks scary lol. And it’s way too long, had to bent my Hard Drive slots to make it fit. Thanks anyway for your post.
