  4:2:2 Conversion

  Other than Cineform’s Neoscene, can some someone suggest a FREE alternative to convert T2i 4:2:0 footage to 4:2:2.

  I’m thinking of buying Cineform, but saving $ is always good and cheap.

  As this is captured originally in 4:2:0 colourspace all you are essentially doing is embedding the lower colourspace into a higher space, not actually making new colour data. Technically working within after effects and PPro you are able to colour correct in 32-bit flaot which renders converting unnecessary…
