audio balance issues
I am having the most difficult time with audio balance in Premiere…
All my interview audio tracks are mono, and are in the same track. At some points the audio balance shifts from 0 (unbalanced, playing in left and right) to balanced to the left (only plays in the left speaker).
I see no keyframes or anything for audio. They only viewable options I have for the audio clips in the timeline are volume (the Adobe manual says to select panning at the top left of the audio portion of the clip in the timeline). If I change the balance in the audio mixer it only changes it for that point. So, I’d literally have to rebalance the audio for every frame.
What do I not know? I’m used to using FCP. In FCP, you open the clip in your viewer, select the audio tab, then change the balance.
Thank you in advance for the help!
