Media Encoder Error
I’m running into errors with Media Encoder. When I go to export, it only encodes the first clip of the sequence before running into an error and stopping. I’ve tried deleting the roaming files with no luck to providing a solution. It’s even got to the point it runs into this error for sequences it successfully rendered earlier today.
There is also 700 Gbs free on the drive I’m saving it to and the file is only 68mb, so memory isn’t an issue.
Any help to overcome this would be greatly appreciated.
The error is as follows:

It seems that I may have stumbled upon a solution… (though nothing seems to be guaranteed with this kind of thing)
I’ll detail what I discovered so others can dig this up if they run into a similar problem. I am using Adobe Premiere and Encoder CS4.
The project I am working on requires subtitles for different languages. For each line of dialogue I create a title and number it for referencing purposes. For example, German has many titles named GER_01, GER_02, etc.
Instead of creating a new slide each time, I would copy, paste, and rename each one. Here’s where the error came in. I copied and pasted the title and then dropped it into the sequence without renaming it. There were two GER_01 in the timeline because of this mistake. Upon noticing my error, I went into the Media Bin and renamed the title. However, the sequence did not reflect the name change.
I have gone back and deleted the duplicate titles and created new ones. It seems to be working.
Hopefully if anyone else runs into a similar problem this is some help.

Can I ask, when making a new Title using a previous Title as a “template” do you open it in Title Window and use the shortcut to “Make New Title based on Current Title” button?
In CS5.5 I have started using the Duplicate option from a Title in the project panel and then open it in Title Window. Just wondering your process…

My process is as follows:
1) Create a new title. (Subtitle 01)
2) Copy and Paste Subtitle 01 in the media bin.
3) Rename the new Subtitle 01 as Subtitle 02
4) Drag Subtitle 02 into the sequence.
5) Double Click Subtitle 02 to open Title Editor
6) Make appropriate changes.
7) Exit Title Editor
