  TriCaster red flash frames with CS3 – SOLVED!

  Some time ago I had an issue with red TriCaster Studio flash frames when cutting on a laptop with CS3 at a remote site – and the client had the same issues in their facility on their CS3 machines. (Their CS4 box handled it OK.)

  Today I was in their studio recording some greenscreen stuff, and since it was going to be short pieces, I clicked the “MPEG-2 studio profile” recording as an experiment, rather than use the normal MPEG-2 recorder.

  No red frames on CS3. That fixed it. One simple little mouse click.
