  Playback problems in CS4

  Working with CS4. SD Project with two sequences and one earlier version of the project imported. TRT approx 11 minutes. Everything working well for weeks until old Premiere Pro bugaboo. Two to three second lag time when trying to preview an assembly in the timeline. Having been through this before on earlier versions of Pro, clean the media cache, save to a new .prproj, reboot the computer and things may work properly for awhile, but after the last clean and reboot routine, the audio of the sequence plays properly but the picture is frozen in the program monitor and the CTI does not move.

  120 Gigabyte System drive
  Two 250 Gig SATA 300 drives
  NVIDEIA Quadro FX 540 display adapter
