    Hi all,

I’m having issues capturing footage from my Sony HDV Camera through Premiere Pro CS5. It’s letting me capture fine in DV mode.

When I’m creating a new project, I can only select the DV option under Capture Format:

Where’s the HDV Option gone to?!

I’m using a Macbook Pro, Snow Leopard, Intel Duo, 8Gb Ram, 1tb HD.
    Help!?!

You are still in 30 day trial mode. HDV is only available in full serialized and active mode.

Option #2: HDV camera is downconverting HDV to DV on 1394 output. Go into camera menu and find “i.Link Convert” and turn it OFF.

I’m in the full version of Premiere Pro CS5 though…

Even if you are downconverting in the camera you should have hdv options.
I think the program has referted itself to trial. They sometimes do.
    Uninstall en reinstall.
Before installing use Cleaner Tool a couple of times.
