Canon HF200 Premiere CS4 sequence settings
I have a Canon HF200
I have been filming in 30p and 60i, however this seems to make no difference since canon tends to put everything in 60i (or so I’m told). This means that the “best” setting to use in my sequence is “AVCHD 1080i30 (60i)”. That is to say that with this setting, there is no ‘green’ or ‘yellow’ or ‘red’ line. it is clear and requires no rendering… actually you can’t render it. This is kind of my problem…It still plays slow and choppy as though it needed to be rendered, but it doesn’t need to be. Now if I put it in another sequence (e.g AVCHD 1080P30) and then render it, it plays just fine; NO slow down, NO choppiness.
I would assume that if I put it into a sequence that didn’t require any rendering it would play great, but it doesn’t. Any thoughts, help, opinions?
Thank you,
John
