    Hi,

I’ve been spending hours trolling the web for an answer and can’t find any. So, hopefully someone can help. I have a project that sometimes saves the preview file and sometimes doesn’t and I have no idea why. I’m using a MacBook Pro I5.

I render a section, the render bar turns green, save the project. When I re-open the project, the section is no longer rendered. I went into the preview files folder and couldn’t find a render file for the last 2 weeks — though there are other render files there. The scratch disks are in the same location as the project file.

Anyone with an idea on what’s going on and what to do would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Bill

I noticed a similar problem today. Unfortunately I don’t have a solution, just a +1 to your problem!

    Hey Guys,
Did you by chance solve this issue as I am having the same one right now?

    Thanks
    Matt

    Hey Matt,

No wasn’t able to resolve the problem. It’s been awhile now. But, I believe what I did was create a new project file and then important the relevant time lines from the old project file. I actually had to do this for a couple reasons and believe this fixed the problem. I’m working on another project now and not experiencing the same problem. Wish I could be of more help. But, maybe the same will solve your problem.
