  Resource Central

  I run PPro CS5 on Win 7. When I open PPro, the resource central panel opens and connects to the internet. I for one, don’t want my PC arbitrarily connecting to the internet. What’s more, with few exceptions, I have no need to go to resource central. I’d like to turn that feature off in a non-permanent way (i.e., I can revert if need be). Does anyone know how w/o resorting to reg changes? Thanks

  Just close the panel. When you restart, Premiere Pro should open with the same workspace (collection and arrangement of panels) as when you quit. If that isn’t working, please submit a bug report.

  Thanks. Indeed, closing the Resource Central panel and saving the project file keeps it from opening again when the project file is re-opened.

  My goal is to NEVER have it automatically access the internet – even when a brand new project is started. Is there a way to completely prevent access to the internet at all times unless I specifically ask it to?
