  Premiere CS5 – No time code when capturing

  Hey,

  I am trying to capture some scenes from a miniDV tape. When the tape is in the deck (Sony DSR-11) I have full device control, and I can hear the audio. However, the capture screen in CS5 is not showing me the timecode. It reads 00;00;00;00, while it should read 07;00;00;00 etc. The timecode does not advance when I fast forward. I have tried the deck and the tape on my old machine with premiere 1.5 and have no problem. I am assuming is is an issue with my settings. Any ideas? Thanks.
