  Waveform playback = havoc

  Ok maybe not havoc, but inconvenience.
  If I have my program monitor set to waveform monitor, and hit play, I cannot hit stop or anything else for about 30 seconds. I can even switch to another application, which normally stops playback, and playback continues. Then if you wait it resolves itself and stops.

  Not sure if this is the video card overlay or a fluke.
  Has anyone experienced this?

  I have this happen from time to time. I don’t think it’s the waveform per se as I run the test displays “4 up” in a reference monitor on one of my 17″ displays full-time and I only have the issue from tie to time.
