    Hello everyone,

I have a project that needs an output video .mpeg but I can only get .mpg from media encoder cs5
    What is the difference?

The only way to get .mpeg is if a check the match sequence settings’s box. However I can not see image or listening to audio when I play back this .mpeg ( the screen is black) why is this happening?

    Thank you!!

The first thing to try is to rename your ‘.mpg’ to ‘.mpeg’. That will probably do it.

These extensions can be confusing… just an “.mpeg” designation could mean anything.

There must be more to the file specification than just that…
