    Hi

    im fairly confident with premiere pro , but i am having a problem importing a Tiff sequence when i navigate to the file and click the first image and check ‘numbered stills’ and open i get the following error message …

    ‘the file has unsupported compression type’

    these Tiffs were rendered in NukeX6.1v2
    they open up in preview fine but PP is spitting out this error.
    PP cs5 v5.0

    Update to 5.0.3. that fixed a lot of problems.

    Also check that the files are 8 bits/channel, Premiere doesn ‘t support anything above that. If you have After Effects, you could convert them there.

    Thanks Ill try this out and keep it posted for now i rendered jpgs. but i will need to use tiff in future.
