I’ve MAC PRO with two graphic cards: Nvidia 120 (or sth like this original from MAC configuration) and Quadro FX4800. I use both in OSX cause of my software requirements. Desktop monitors are connected to Nvidia 120.
I’ve installed Win7 with bootcamp and CS5 on it. Both cards are installed and “visible” to the system, but as I said monitors are connected to Nvidia 120.
Premiere CS5 says that system has no “Mercury Playback ability”. Has anybody any idea to make Premiere use the power of FX4800 and enable Marcury on that configuration?

Make sure that you’ve installed the current graphics card drivers from Nvidia. I’ve seen a recent issue in which that made the 4800 become visible and usable on a Mac system.

The problem is you can only use another Quadro card with the FX4800 in order to use the hardware acceleration. Plus, I believe the FX4800 must be the #1 monitor in the Windows monitor configuration. Someone I know who teaches for AdobeTV has the FX4800 and a cheaper Quadro 275, and he stated that a 2nd Quadro is needed for these purposes.
