I just upgraded from Premiere CS4 to CS5 (Mac and PC), and noticed a problem with my export. I created video in After Effects and imported it into Premiere. I posted and completed the video, which looks great in playback; however, when I export it, the video pulsates. It blows up like 1% and looks really blurred. The pulse runs throughout the video.

I tried changing my key frame frequency on export, but it didn’t help.

Can someone give me a clue as to what is going wrong??

    Thanks

Can you post a screen shot of your export settings window?

    Thanks.

    Here is the screen capture.

By doing a combination of frame blending and de flicker, I was able to minimize it, but things appear a hair blurred.

    Thanks

You may get better results by doing a de-interlace rather than frame blending/deFlicker. Exporting from field-based material (interlaced DV)to progressive will always be soft: you’re essentially throwing away 1/2 the vertical resolution.
