Transcode settings from Premiere to Encore
Hello,
I need some help!!!
I’ve been accustomed to making DVDs using premiere and encore.
I’ve been using this SD video camera that saves files as an .MOD format that I convert to MPEG-2 to be transferred to Premiere. And this is where I get stuck when transcoding.
The videos are blurry and poor in quality as it is and I really want to make it better and maybe it’s my settings that are the problem, thus, making the final result (in DVD) really bad.
The DVD I am trying to make is about a 3-3.5 hrs DVD and a standard 4:3.I want to know how I can accomplish the best possible results in long hours of footage.
VBR or CBR? Minimum bitrate, max bitrate, and target bitrate?
And GOP settings? Audio settings? And multiplexer? In the past few years, I’ve just really played with these settings so I can fit the amount of footage I have in one DVD which gives me poor results maybe due to so much compression?
I want to know what I can do with the “export settings” so I can produce the best quality without having to cut too much footage.
I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Thanks!!!!
