  PROMAX DA-MAX+ and After Effects 7

  Anyone else having this problem?: I am using the DA-MAX+ to preview from the 1394 on my workstation to my NTSC monitor. With AE 6.5, no problem. With AE 7, total loss of video sync (the image is distored and rolls). I had the same problem when I upgraded from Encore 1.5 to 1.5.1. However, that problem is now gone with the upgrade to Encore 2.0.

  PROMAX says they’ve never heard of anything like it. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the software, did a full Windows reinstall, and reinstalled all DA-MAX+ drivers. I’ve tried creating a sync signal with the composite line out of the MAX into the NTSC monitors external sync. No change. BTW, any preview output to another device such as a camera through 1394 is just fine. The problem is definately with DA-MAX+ and Adobe.

  Any ideas?
