  Premiere CS5 Audio cutting out

  Hi
  I am editing footage from my DSLR and I have added an audio file to the time line. The footage plays smoothly but the audio cuts out at seemingly random points.

  The project’s settings mirror that of the audio file (44.1khz) and when I play the audio in the source window it plays fine.

  The wav of the audio file seems fine and doesn’t cut out at all.

  Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

  Hi Lloyd,

  The only time I’ve seen this happen is on cheap integrated sound card drivers. I would try upgrading the drivers first, but if you do have an integrated sound card, I would really recommend something of higher grade.
