  What?! Unsupported Compression Type? I’ve had this proj open before!?

  I hadn’t opened a particular project for some time… then today I open it to find my time line with all the clips “offline”

  I used the Media Browser w/in PremierePro to navigate to my Raw Footage (avchd from the Panasonic HMC150) and double clicked a clip to open it.

  After the “opening media” dialog box, Premiere slapped me with a “Error Message: The file has an unsupported compression type.”

  What!?

  I’ve had this project open before! Why would this pop up?

  Well, after Uninstalling CS4 and CS5 Master Collections, running the CS5 Cleaner script, and re-installing CS4 and CS5, Premiere remembered what those file types were.

  It was the last straw since Photoshop CS5 was bogging down the entire system, … then this… so…

  Actually, Encore STILL won’t even open… hmm
