  XDCAM 720 50P to Pal 25p or 25i for DVD

  Hi there. Have had a search of the forums and can’t seem to find an answer to my issue.

  I’ve recorded something in 720 50p on the Sony PDW700 using the XDCAM 422 format. Nice format by the way. Skin tones look gorgeous.

  I bought the MainConcept MPEG codec in order for it work in Prem Pro CS4. So far so good.

  I was wondering if anyone had any tips for an export workflow to get it to PAL 25fps for DVD? My attempts so far sing AME show a kind of artifacting you might expect on horizontal moves in a frame. A slight ghosting on sudden moves rather than interlacing artifacts, that is.

  I’m playing with different export options but have had no joy. Anyone else had the same issue?
