Ok, i found the shortcuts for the english/german versions of AE7. Not a problem i thought and really, i finally got AE working with all english tabs and names and shortcuts… until yesterday.
Now i have a mixed AE. The original AE is in german (What the…***) and the effects like the Trapcodes ones for example are in english.
How can i get rid of the german words… i just want a plain pure english AE7.0.
    Any ideas?

Hmmmm, have you put a plate of sauerkraut and sausage in front of the computer along witha pint of beer? Put a small fan there so the smell wafts into the computer. Maybe the german elements will be tempted and come out of the computer. 🙂

I must say, yours is the most unique problem I’ve ever heard of with software. Where did you buy the software?

oh its the adobe video productionbundle with all these goodies photoshop, audition … and everything works well in english… and the AE did so too… until yesterday.. and i didnt do anything. Nothing installed nor changed. Oh and i can still start the complete german AE, but there is no complete english anymore.
I took a picture. Can i upload it here somewhere?
Again, this is not an aprils joke… this is reality that will twist a poor compositors mind even a bit more!

    another problem here with english/german

I explicit ordered an english version, works ok so far, but starting Aftereffects from Encore or Premiere opens a german AE Version, very annoying! (more annoying is that all my individual workspace layouts are only in the english version)

Hah, got the same prob too.
I dont know how to change the internal link from one program to another one.
D***, why cant we get a complete english version.
Problem with the german version is, that the shortkeys arent working even when using a UK or US Keyboard.
