Project Won’t Export to Tape Correctly
I have a large series of videos in various projects which I am currently backing up to tape. Now, this week I’ve done this successfully 12 times without any problems whatsoever. But I come in today, set everything up exactly how it was yesterday, made sure the playback settings were correct. I could see the video on the camera’s screen to confirm the camera is connected correctly. And then I go to “Export to Tape” and the menu pops up just fine, all the settings there are correct and I hit record.
There is suddenly nothing recording on the camera. My software says its recording, everything is happening like it normally would except nothing is recording on the camera. The LCD screen just went black. The timecode isn’t even moving. When I stopped and cancelled, the video came back on the LCD screen. I played it back to make sure and there is nothing there. Any idea what I may be doing wrong?
I’m not sure if this makes a difference but I have recorded this video to tape before…
