  Premiere Pro 5 playback problem

  Video and audio playback on my 8 core MacPro does not work correctly. It will play a few frames and then snap back to where it started from. This is true in both the preview window and in the timeline. I have tried different scratch disks, repairing permissions , disk repair etc. Final Cut Pro on the same machine works fine. I also have Premiere Pro 5 on my laptop and it works fine. Any ideas short of a complete re-install?

  Hi Chris,

  Make sure the “loop” button is deactivated under the program monitor
