  Premiere pro cs4 jitter video question

  Hello. Without looking at instructions or anything else I wanted to know the quick fix for a jitter in my video. I have tried different video files and they all have the same problem, they jitter when playing back or in the timeline. My PC computer has 8 gigs of ram and a quad core chip and windows 7.
  What is a possible solution to this problem.

  OK, so if if I turn off the realtime playback the jitter goes away.
  Is there a way that it wont jitter if i want to use an external monitor? would it be better to go through the Blackmagic card? if so, how is that turned on to read it?
