  How to stretch anamorphic footage at export time

  Hi. I am using Premiere Pro CS3.

  I have created some sequences from captured as widescreen DV-PAL – but anamorphic (720×576 @1.067).

  I want the output to be widescreen (as god intended) – but because the source clips are anamorphic, the footage is coming out squashed and not widescreen.

  I’m using Media Encoder CS3 to export to FLV – is there a simple way to get it to stretch the footage from 4:3 to 16:9? The project I created is 4:3 – do I need to go back and re-do the work in a 16:9 project?

  Make the output 1050×576 with square pixel

  At the risk of showing my ineptness with Premiere Pro/Media Encoder, but where should I specify the 1:1 pixel ratio?

  Use Microsoft avi with the lagarith codec, you can set par to 1.0 and change the dimentions to 1050×576.
