I’m ordering a SAGER NP9280 and will install CS5 Production Premium on it– Are there streamlining options I should know about, and will I end up causing conflicts if I also install my old copy of Vegas 7? And Vue8?

    NP 9280 specs:

    nVIDIA GeForce GTX 285M 1GB GDDR3
    Intel® CoreT i7-930 Processor (2.8GHz) 8MB L3 Cache, 4.8 GT/sec QPI, LGA 1366
IC Diamond Thermal Compound – CPU + GPU
    6GB (3 SODIMMS) DDR3/1066 Triple Channel Memory
500GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200RPM Hard Drive (16MB Cache Buffer)
500GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200 RPM Hard Drive (16MB Cache Buffer)
500GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200RPM Hard Drive (16MB Cache Buffer)
RAID 0 enabled – 2 Hard Drives, +1 for OS
Firewire, eSata, HDMI, 4 USB interfaces

    thank you

There maynot be a problem with the software interacting, the problem may occur with older software, a newer OS and newer hardware drivers,
Your video card isn’t on the Adobe approved list but there is a hack for using it, https://www.indiev.org/?p=317 also the mobile GPU processor doesn’t have as many processor cores as the desktop 285 so the Cuda performance isn’t going to be as good.
