HI am I missing something, I cant find Mpeg2 or 1 export anywhere in the new premiere cs5 demo.

Is this deliberate or is it going to be in the final version?

I use it all the time as it has much smoother playback that MPEG4 in high quality HD and my media player doesnt handle H264 anyway.

There is no MPEG support in the trial version, as MPEG is a paid for codec, meaning Adobe has to pay a fee for every copy of PPRO for use of the MPEG codec.

It does actually state it somewhere on the trial version download page, or readme file.

You will find all of the export formats you love in the retail version. The trial does not allow export to the following formats:

    AVCHD
    MPEG2
