i’ve been doing an animation that requires a camera to follow the action of an animating stroke (think nyc subway map). at each ‘node’ of the stroke an animation happens (text wipes on/off, images pop up etc..) is it generally advisable to animate the camera flying over the comp? or actually moving the comp below a static camera. the camera stays 90deg over the comp at all times. also, should this just be in one giant comp? or should i find some way to split it up? it really should look like a seamless journey across a map.

    thanks!
