I have a question. I know someone with a version of Adobe Premiere Pro, the latest version, that might not be on the up and up. They have it on a computer not plugged into the internet. He had a project that worked before.

I came over to try and play some new footage on the computer. Adobe did not have the right codec. I went to the Adobe website and downloaded what I thought were the right updates for Adobe. Downloaded them onto the computer and still nothing worked. We tried downloading the latest Quicktime and Itunes. Still nothing. The footage was shot on a sony ex1 in 1080p24.

We re-opened the project that worked before and now it doesn’t in that none of the footage is connected or recognized. Not only that, but Adobe decided to forget some codecs. We figured it might be that we accidentally updated with a cs3 update, but I don’t think so.

I figured it might be cause of the bootleg version of Premiere, but not sure.
