I was working on a project last night and when I came back this morning, Premiere started displaying the clip at a really fast speed. The in and out points are the same and the audio hasn’t changed, nor has the clip length. It looks as if the video is playing at 20 times speed.

I check the project on another computer and I am getting the same thing. I opened the file in Windows Media Player and the clip plays at normal speed.

What do I do? This is fracking up my Friday.

Try Clip/Speed duration by right click on clip and alter speed ?

right click the clip and go to reset all attributes or clear all effects. If that didn’t work, we need more information about the system and drives
