Which are the optimal render settings for my full HD short movie?
Hi,
I am sitting at my computer trying to optimize the render settings for my 7 minutes short movie. As I have nearly no experience with all the adjustable parameters in Adobe Premiere, I really need help with the settings. It would be great if someone could give me some advice how I set things up.
The footage was shot with a Canon 5D Mk II in a 1920×1080 resolution (H.264 Codec) in a .mov format.
I imported my after effects projects into premiere, click on “export->media” and have to adjust the render settings. What do you think of the following:
Format: H.264 (-> the output format would be .mp4)
Frame width & height: 1920×1080
Framerate: 30 fps
pixel aspect ratio: square pixel
profile: main
Level: 5.0 (<-- is that okay?) Bitrate Encoding: VBR 2 Pass Target Bitrate [Mbps]: 14 (<-- Does this value make sense?) Maximum Bitrate [Mbps]: 14 (<-- Does this value make sense?) Keyframe distance: 33 I would be happy about every bit of advice. I wish you a sunny day... Michi
