Long Adobe Media Encoder Render hangs with 7 seconds left
Hello. I’m using CS4 on a Mac. I’ve never had any render issues whatsover in the past. I have a very long video (54 minutes) and I’ve been attempting to render it out the last couple days.
Yesterday I set it to render. It took over 7 hours… and then got to the very end (where the orange bar was practically filled) and just sat there with “estimated time remaining” saying 8 seconds. It didn’t do anything else. No error message. Media Encoder didn’t seem to be frozen… i was able to pause and eventually just stop the render. What gives?
Today I tried the same thing… 6 hours 15 minutes “elapsed time”… it’s sitting there looking like the orange bar is completely filled. It says “estimated time remaining: 7 seconds” and it’s just been sitting like this for 20 minutes. Is this a common issue with long renders? Do i need to just let it sit there for a few hours? It’s very frustrating… I don’t want to just keep trying over and over and over again (since it takes 6-7 hours each time).
