Probably just a stupid human trick on my part, but I can’t get the timeline playhead to snap properly, even though I am enabling it with the magnet icon (yes, I also tried the ‘s’ key). Am I missing something?

[Jeff Hammond] “but I can’t get the timeline playhead to snap properly”

The Snap function does not involve the playback head (CTI) but dragging clips in the timeline where they will snap together without a gap or overlay.
There are a number of commands for navigating the CTI, such as Page Up/Down, Home and End keys.

Thanks-I figured it out shortly after I posted. I’m porting over from FCP, and was expecting the same behavior. BTW, I’m totally sold on Premiere… I can’t understand why more people don’t use it!
