I transcode my mp4 clips to bluray m2v before I bring them into Premiere. After cleaning them up with effects and filters can you tell me the best way to get them into Encore. I hear that the Dynamic Link option undoes transcoding, is this true, will it effect the quality? If I export from Premiere via the Encoder onto disk should I choose the same setting I had before?

    Anthony,

Dynamic link will not undo transcoding, in fact it will not transcode until it gets the Encore. That’s the way I always do it and I’m happy with the results.

Right, I missed a bit of your post. Yes, it will force a new transcoding, you can still replace the mpeg 2 files with the originals.
