    Hello,
I am a motion graphics artist with a large video timeline in premeire. I would like to perform an “online,” where I am upresing my currently used offline quality footage (DV res) to Uncompressed 1920×1080 animation codec mov’s.

I have cut my timeline using DV res renders I made out of after effects. I have duplicate Full HD uncompressed renders for each of my files. Is there a way to do automatically upres the files, similar to how you would re-capture the files at a higher res from a deck?

I’m looking for solutions but they all seem capture based instead a sort “file swapping” that I am looking for.

    Thanks in advance,

Provided your clips are exactly the same length and only better quality u can either offline them collectively and link them to your hi res versions.

Then you’ll need to make a new seq in matching HD res fps and copy dv edit to paste into HD seq for relinked files to fit properly.

Best practice would see u make a new project for the online so u still have the offline edit for safety.
