  Exporting to tape with PP CS4

  I’m editing a project in DV-NTSC Widescreen 48Khs and then attempting to export to tape. Would rather edit in HDV but due to playback issues must do it in DV. I want to keep a widescreen aspect. The only way I can get it to keep this aspect is to set the “Aspect Ratio Conversion” in the playback setting to “Software”. Problem is, when I do this, the audio is about 8 seconds out of sync. The audio is fine if I set it to “Hardware” but then it squished it to 4:3. I’ve tried changing between “desktop audio” and “external device audio” but does not affect anything.

  Any ideas out there?
