Good evening and Happy new Year.
I am having an issue that I can’t work out.
I have created a static title in prem pro as a default still.

I then exported it to after effects in order to make the text explode using the shatter effect.

However when I try to edit in A/Effects all I get on screen is a black square and no text. I used the replace with after effects composition button in prem pro.

Any ideas- I am guessing its pretty simple but its got me beat atthe moment.

    thanks

    Andy

It is much easier to make the title in Photshop with a transparent background and a correct pixel size.

Titles used in PPro are not translated into AE, which is why your replace with After Effects Composition doesn’t show it in the AE comp.

You will need to think about the PPro Titler as a placeholder or proxy that you will rebuild in AE if you want to do anything special with it.
