  connecting videocam to laptop w/o fire wire

  I have canon GL-1 with firewire but my widows laptop has only USB and eSata…
  How can I connect the video to my computer? does spider hub(firewire to e SATA) works for this situation? my lap top doesn’t have pc card slot either…

  There used to be a firewire to usb adapter made by Pixela.com, I haven’t seen any for a while, what kind of laptop do you have?

  Or if you have a Express slot, you can always get a Firewire card.
