  creating a rotating transition from 2 cameras

  Help! I have a client that wants the effect of a camera rotating around the subject. Not a full 360 degree rotation just a smooth pan of about 90 degrees with the subject as the lock point. Can this be done with AE7.0 if I shoot the video with 2 cameras offset by 90 degrees? The idea is to transition from camera 1 to Camera 2 in a smooth 90 degree arc.

  I am new to AE and have no idea if what I am asking is even possible. Please help.
