Is there a better Media Manager for PP ?
Hi all,
I am trying to make a decision about which product to use. Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere. I like Adobes ease of editing things in the trimmer but I really like the Sony Media Manager (I don’t need to keep files organised on PC, just tag them properly)
I have had some brief experience using sony media manager with its tagging and then quick retrieval of items I tried Adobe Bridge but it doesnt have the same functions and was wondering if anyone uses an alternative media manager similar to sony’s?

When you are used to something, nothing else will replace it.
After using bridge for a while, you’ll find that it is quite a good application as well.

I tried to use it again last night and yes, it start to look better but then I began receiving the error “File cannot store XMP data”. My HD video cm saves files in the format *.MTS but I was receiving this error try to update tags on every file type.

Certain files like those from P2 footage are set to “read only” by default, so updating data on those files require that you uncheck the “read only” box on the folders first.
