  • Grey Zoom Bar Flickers while timeline plays…

Hello, I know I’ve asked this before, but I’m still experiencing this very frustrating issue. In Adobe Premiere Pro CS4, the grey zoom bar above the timeline flickers every time I play the timeline. The first chapter marker flickers as well. I’m running Windows 7, 64 bit, with 8 gigs of ram, a quad core processor and Quadro FX1800 graphics card. If anyone has a solution, please let me know. I know there is another gentlemen who is experiencing the same issue.

    Thanks

    Arlen

    Hi Ann,

There must be someone out there who may know of a fix. I wonder what is causing this. I thought it may be in my computer or adobe settings, though I haven’t found a configuration that will eliminate it. What is your setup? i.e. Windows 7, 64 bit, graphic card etc…to see if we have something in common.

I think its a bug in Premiere.

    Hello,

I have experienced this problem and solved it by turning off the Windows 7 Aero interface.

    Appearance and Personalization>Change Theme>Windows Classic

Once this was completed the grey zoom bar was solid and flicker free.
