    As the name implies, it maximizes the quality of your render. Adobe has an issue with certain exports, like scaling HDV to DVD or deinterlacing video. For better quality, use the checkbox, but be aware it can greatly increase render times.

    Another option would be to use a 3rd-party encoder such as Sorenson Squeeze 6.
